This self-paced orientation course is designed for those who have never used the ScarletCanvas learning management system or who are just getting started. You can also use this as a reference once you start your online course if you have any questions then. By the end of the orientation you should have a basic understanding of the ScarletCanvas tool set and be ready to begin using ScarletCanvas with your courses.

Specifically, upon the completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Navigate within ScarletCanvas, and customize settings.
• Communicate effectively, using the Canvas communication tools
• Turn in assignments and take quizzes.
• This course is set up as a resource for you to complete, then come back to if you ever need help in the future. Those who complete all the required sections will have the knowledge of the tools needed to become a successful student using ScarletCanvas.
